Itinerary
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
In the morning transfer to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. Enjoy the sights of massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at a lodge in Tarangire.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing. Look for the famous tree-climbing lions and a variety of birdlife. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at Manyara Serena Lodge.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast transfer to Serengeti National Park with a lunch box. Enjoy game viewing en route to the park. Dinner and overnight stay at Seronera Wildlife Lodge in the heart of the Serengeti.
Day 4: Serengeti / Lobo
After breakfast continue with game viewing in Serengeti National Park. Take a hot lunch at Seronera and thereafter transfer to Lobo area for more wildlife action. Dinner and overnight stay at Lobo Wildlife Lodge.
Day 5: Serengeti / Ndutu
After breakfast continue with game viewing in the northern part of Serengeti and return to Lobo for lunch. After lunch drive to the southern part of Serengeti, appreciating the endless plains from the border between Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight stay at Ndutu Lodge.
Day 6: Olduvai Gorge
After breakfast, with a packed lunch and game viewing en route, drive to Ngorongoro Olduvai Gorge, the famous archaeological site. Explore the "Cradle of Mankind" before heading to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast descend into the crater for a tour of the unbroken caldera which hosts a dense population of wildlife. Enjoy lunch in the crater. Afterward, you may visit a Maasai boma before driving back to Arusha in the evening.
