We believe there are different ways of discovering this beautiful country by renting your car and starting the journey by yourself with your partner, family or friends.

Car rentals and hire requirements on Zanzibar and Tanzania

Suzuki Vitara costs $50 USD per day; for a week or more you will be discounted.

We also offer a 4x4 wheel drive Mini Bus 11 seated for Self Drive at a cost of $80 USD per 24 hours, or $70 USD per day for 7 days or more hire.

Land Cruiser (Latest Prado) $200 USD per day; 7 days or more car hire rental of Land Cruiser is $180 USD per day.

International driver’s license required or your national driver’s license to be endorsed for an extra $15 USD.

Airport / Stone Town pick up and drop off available. Delivery to different resorts and hotels on the island has an extra charge for fuel.

Fully insured against accidents. Mechanical failure is our responsibility. Personal property should be insured by yourself.

It is your responsibility to make sure the car is parked safely in hotels car parks under watchmen. Most places provide watchmen and car parks.

Car is delivered with empty fuel tank (you can also prepay us to refuel vehicle before delivery; a litre of petrol costs approx. $1.20 USD) and you return car with empty fuel tank. Full tank costs $90 USD.
