BACKGROUND AND LEGAL STATUS
Indian Ocean Magic Tours (INDOMA) is a Zanzibar registered family business, which started operating in 2003, and was incorporated on 29 October 2003 under the Companies decree, Cap. 153. The registration number is 465.12.2003
After five years of experience, Mohamed Salim established the company, which today strives to grow to new heights and deliver high standard service.
COMPANY AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Our main objectives for the company:
- To highlight the best that Zanzibar has to offer and be great Ambassadors for this beautiful paradise island.
- To provide a personalized service to our discerning travelers who will serve as our good Ambassadors in their respective countries, in ensuring this we spare no detail.
- To create wealth and jobs for young Zanzibaris, so that as the company grows they can grow too. We want to lead in the market and our services so we can present a model to other young entrepreneurs in the country.
- To diversify and broaden our horizon in business so we can take full advantage of Zanzibar’s untapped potentials.
- To give back to the community through empowering young people by providing them with training opportunities and caring for our environment.

Management
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mohamed Salim is a young entrepreneur with more than 10 years of experience in the industry. He worked for a few well-established companies like Leopard Tours and Fisherman Tours before establishing his own in 2003.
Salim values hard work and is today at the helm of Indoma Tours which employs 7 people (all under 30 of age) and is also co-owner and MD of a small beach hotel, the Sea view lodge employing another 10 people.
GENERAL MANAGER
Masoud Salim is currently a first year law student at the Zanzibar University and occasionally will find time on weekends to work for Indoma Tours, which he is very passionate about.
Salim has extensive experience in the industry and has worked for Abercrombie & Kent as their VIP guide for 5 years before coming home to Indoma in 2010.
